Cheko was abandoned by a family that had him for a short period of time where he was kept in the yard as a guard dog. From there, Cheko was at Harbor Shelter for a year, and was picked up by two fosters in November through April 2023.
After Cheko's time with his fosters, he spent several months in a professional board and train facility
Cheko was abandoned by a family that had him for a short period of time where he was kept in the yard as a guard dog. From there, Cheko was at Harbor Shelter for a year, and was picked up by two fosters in November through April 2023.
After Cheko's time with his fosters, he spent several months in a professional board and train facility in San Diego, CA. Cheko was recently adopted by a professional working dog trainer in Dallas, TX. We hope through additional proper training that Cheko will be donated to a police academy, or become adopted by an experienced Malinois handler.
